Mr. Orhan KIRLI
GOVERNOR OF PROVINCE ÇANAKKALE

Mr. Orhan KIRLI was born on November; 18th.; 1946 in Muğla. After having graduated from Political Science Faculty of University Ankara; he was appointed as attendant clerk in Muğla Governorship, later he promoted to Sub-District Administrator of Kavaklıdere. Then, he served as deputy district officer of boroughs in Doğanhisar of Konya; Havsa of Edirne; Çardak of Denizli. After having completed district officer course; he served as district officer in boroughs Ardeşen of Rize; Seyitgazi of Eskişehir; Hozat of Tunceli; Kuyucak of Aydın and Çay of Afyon. Later, he promoted to deputy governor in Province Kastamonu in 1980, in Province Bursa in 1983, in Province Isparta in 1988. Once more he appointed as district officer Gaziosmanpaşa of İstanbul in 1991 and Yenimahalle in 1996. He served for a short term as legal counsel in Ministery of Internal Affairs. In 2001, he appointed to Deputy Governor of Ankara, as of 01 Februarv 2003 to Governor of Province Artvin, and to Governor of Province Çanakkale as 31.12.2005.

Mr. Orhan KIRLI received a certificate on Public Administration from Manchester University and a Master of Arts Degree on tourism from Economics faculty of İstanbul University.

Mr. KIRLI is married and have one daughter and able to command English well.
